DATA ANALYTICS
Details
Data analytics experience has been obtained during engagements primarily within the public sector. Private sector data analytics experience is minimal and was obtained prior to 2004. Figure (1) below represents the proportion of experience in private industry vs. public sector relative to total years of experience.
The information provided represents experience obtained where year is >= 1998 and <= 2025.

The majority, seventy-five percent (75%), of experience has been in the public sector. Private industry accounts for the remaining twenty-five percent (25%).
Private Industry
- Obtaining software performance metrics and Telecommunications network latency metrics
Microsoft Excel was used to generate graphical representations of the data.
Public Sector
During public sector engagements my experience in data analytics gradually increased beginning with engagements at the United States Customs and Border Protection agency. Data analytics experience took on a primary role upon joining the MITRE Corporation. My experience at MITRE ultimately led to many data analytic engagements at NOAA. My data analytics experience became focused on the scientific efforts including:
Aerospace
specifically in the area of fuel consumption based on mathematical models have 4 degrees of freedom of movement and discovering ways to integrate meteorological conditions into the models to improve trajectory modeling of aircraft during flight phases.
Meteorology and Astrophysics
specifically focused on solar events including geo-magnetic storms and their effects on the Earth.
